Job Description:
As a Biotech Engineer, you will work on designing and testing innovative materials and
disinfection solutions at the intersection of chemistry, materials science, and biotechnology.
This role offers the opportunity to engage in research that is both academically challenging
and commercially relevant, while working closely with IIT Bombay alumni and IIT
Gandhinagar professors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on advanced materials with water- and stain-resistant, antibacterial properties
- Characterize disinfection technologies and evaluate their efficacy
- Perform laboratory experiments in material modification, coatings, and disinfection testing
- Collaborate with the team to translate lab findings into scalable product applications

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Materials Science, Biotechnology, or related fields
- Hands-on experience in material processing, modification, or chemical experiments
- Familiarity with laboratory practices, characterization techniques, and safety protocols

- Zeal to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven startup environment
